Hey guys, So many things have changed since I started this blog. I had my first big girl job, I decided to leave my first big girl job to focus on my dreams. Cordelia turned into a toddler! I decided to start fresh at a new blog. Follow me at http://robutton.blogspot.com/ to see my projects and adventures!

I've Been Waiting For This Day
Seven months ago we could feel your presence. Shifting and moving under the surface. Causing pain and biting and drool, lots and lots of drool. Finally you have graced us with your presence, and we are so excited to see you.
Welcome Cordelia's first tooth! Down there on the bottom! In this picture it's only a tiny white blob, in real life it's pearly white and super sharp, and perfect, truly perfect :)

A Day at the Park
Brendon got home early from work today; after he and baby girl took extremely long naps (while I worked on a sewing project that failed horribly) I decided that we needed to get out of the house. We have had the wackyist weather in the D.C area this winter, today was in the 50s! So we took advantage of the beautiful day and went to the park, and Cordelia took her first try at the swing.
These are photos from my phone so they aren't great, but I love how happy she looks it helps me remember to focus on the good things in life.

Eight!
Cordelia is now eight months old. I am amazed with how fast time goes by, I'm hoping it slows down soon but I wont hold my breath. She is crawling and pulling herself up to stand. She says "Mama" and "Dada". She LOVES to play with the cats (when they let her) and she eats a lot! Cordelia is a busy bee, she loves to play with her books:
and the wonderful toys she got for Christmas, including her elephant:
I love every moment I get to spend with her. Even now when she is dripping drool and snot by the bucketful because she is teething AND experiencing her first cold, let's hope the cold doesn't last long!

Ma, Watch me Stand!
One...
Two...
Three!
Ta Da!
It is so amazing to watch Cordelia learn new things, when you think about how many things we as human beings lean in our first year of life it's really mind boggling. These pictures were taken on her seven month "birthday" so they are a little late to the blog. These days Cordelia is so mobile I can't turn around for a second and expect her to be in the same place I left her! Thankfully now she can sit back down just as well as she can stand, for a short while there she would stand up and be so proud of herself and then she would get board of standing and become distressed because she didn't know how to get back down!

New Year, New Goals
So I must admit I kept putting of this post. I hate New Years. I'm afraid that it makes me horribly pessimistic, all I can think about it all the crap I DIDN'T accomplish. Well, ten days later I'm trying to be more optimistic! So I have thought a lot about this list, and I had to think even more on it once I realized that this is also the year I will turn 25 so this is also my list of things I want to do before I'm 25, YIKES where did the time go!
- Write a blog post AT LEAST twice a week
- Make a pair of pants for myself
- Find a job (It doesn't have to be perfect yet, but that would be nice)
- Finally, finally, finally launch Robutton
- Read Cordelia a book before bed every night (I'm slacking on this a little)
- Weed negative, selfish people out of my life
- Send Birthday cards
- Exercise. Make a habit of it. So far I'm doing ok with this one.
- Eat more fruits and veggies
- Get the cats to run around and exercise everyday! They are getting too lazy!
- Keep my nails looking nice
- Learn to be more forgiving

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas from our happy, and tattoo proud Family!
This Christmas was the most insane Christmas I have ever experienced. We celebrated at five different houses, not including our own. Additionally, we were blessed by having a very large family and that puts a lot of people on the "To Give" list. Don't get me wrong, I love giving presents, but it takes a lot of stress and time and money to cover everyone and I have kind of decided that it takes the fun out of the holiday and distracts from the importance of the holiday as well. I'm not sure where I stand on the birth of Christ aspect, but Christmas is about family and spending time with those you hold dear to your heart.
