Nothing is more wonderful than a new dress

So there is nothing astounding about this outfit I admit- however I love the feeling I feel when I purchase/ make a new dress. No other article of clothing makes me as happy as a dress. They are simple, and beautiful, and one day I will have enough dresses to wear a different one every day. . . ok , maybe not that many, but you get the picture.

Bad Hair Day

It's one of my goals for the summer to teach myself how to style my hair in different ways, mainly retro ways. So I spent all night uncomfortable, sleeping with hard rollers in so I could have some curl to work with.

Well, this face says it all- my curls were messy and difficult, and I ended up wearing my hair in a pony tail. . . oh well 

Happy 4th!

My hubby, nephew and I went and watched fireworks at the local high school. They were really great fireworks, but then again I love fireworks! These are some of the photos I took while we were waiting for them to start. I promise that I will do a real outfit post soon, it has been so hot that by the time I get to take a picture of my outfit I have melted! Thats why the only outfit photo I have from the 4th is of my shoes. These are one of my many pairs of Tidewater Flip-flops, We sell them at my work and they are the most comfortable Flip-Flops you will ever wear.  I have about 12 different patterns and I live in them all summer!

New Shoes!

My exciting find from DSW! They are Madden Girl by Steve Madden, and I remember now why I am in love with Steve Madden Shoes, aren't they lovely! I am now working on a dress to match (well not match, but coordinate), I can't wait to wear them!
